Where have you travelled before? When I was young I went to England, Ireland and Scotland. Lived in England for almost 2 years. 5 yrs ago I made a trip to Jerusalem.
Education?
Bachelors in physical therapy
Why did you want to go on this trip?
My granny Persse came with 9 of 14 children came to Canada immigrated in 1890s. Looking for a better way of life and she always talked to us about the old country and how wonderful it was. I visited with my mom and dad to Ireland but always wanted to come back. I love the green, the small Irish towns and the way of life.
What did you do to prepare?
Kelly and I first talked about the trip in March. I began to save my money and think about how long a trip I could take and where I’d like to go. I told Kelly about my wishes and she planned the trip around my them. I wanted to get a feel for Ireland rather than covering many miles. I have ancestors from Limerick and Galway.
